Regulation Room

As the Lead Technologist, I developed Regulation Room, an experimental public rulemaking participation platform by Cornell University’s e-Rulemaking Initiative. Regulation Room uses Digress.it technology to expand the types of public input available to agencies in the federal rulemaking process, while serving as a teaching and research platform. In 2010 it was chosen by the Department of Transportation (DOT) as its open-government flagship initiative and received a Leading Practices Award by the White House. For over two years I played a key role in strategic decisions and building the technical team. As of  January 2012, I will be serve an advisory role.
