Ever feel that there are two words to describe a situation but there should be only one? You don’t? Well I do. For example, there is no word to say you are both excited and nervous at the same time and surely that happens often. I don’t know a word that describes both excited and nervous (let me know if you know one; real or not) but I have run across a few that have proved to be useful. Here are a few:
inspectigate (verb)- A Jane original, now part of my vocabulary. It means to investigate and inspect at the same time
guesstimate (verb) – This is a classic, to make a guess at an estimate
automagically (adverb)- This happens often with computers. When we don’t know how it works but it just does its both automatic and magically.
ginormous (adjective) – when something is not only gigantic but also enourmous, its ginourmous
flusterated (adjective) both frustrated and flustered.
